Introduction to Biblical Greek Course

June 8th, 2012 · 1 Comment · Church, Faith, Happenings, Misc. Projects

I hope to teach an Introduction to Biblical Greek community course in the Fergus Falls area this summer. Here’s the plug…

Ever wanted to know about the original Greek language of the New Testament but don’t want to take a college course or do large amounts of memorizing? This summer community course, Introduction to Biblical Greek, will introduce the basics of Biblical (Koine) Greek, such as the alphabet, pronunciation, parts of speech, and more. Participants will be able to read and speak (pronounce) Greek, translate portions of the Greek New Testament, use better Bible study tools, understand differences between English Bibles, and explore nuances in God’s Word that don’t come through in English translations. This summer course will be six sessions long. Dates will depend on the preferences of those interested. If you are interested, please email Kyle Sorkness [or comment on this post] or call 218-585-9537 by June 10. Kyle is studying Theology and Biblical Languages at Concordia University, St. Paul, MN and will be facilitating this course at his home church, Trinity Lutheran of Fergus Falls.
